His wife also performed alongside him on the tour.

They were forced to cancel their two shows in Indonesia after a horrible incident occurred in their family and headed back to the US

McPhee made their announcement through her Instagram handle.

It was later revealed a month later that their son's nanny had passed away in a car accident in Los Angeles

David's two-year-old son is a drumming prodigy

David is a music icon, and his wife is also a singer. Their old son, Rennie, is also following a musical path like his parents.

His son is obsessed with drums. The obsession eventually turned into talent.

The young boy has some skills, and David shared the video of his son playing the drum on his Instagram with the caption PROGRESS!! 2 years, three months.

His son started showing his drumming skills when he was 22 months old.

The proud father has been documenting his son's progress for many months.

His son played drum set with his chopsticks.

David talked about how he got into music

David said his father was a piano player.

Though his father was not a professional pianist, he was good at playing the piano.

He watched his father play the piano when he was a kid, and he wanted to play like his father once he was old enough to.

He said his father taught him slowly and meticulously.

His father recognized that he was good at it, so he enrolled him in piano classes, though they were not financially well enough to afford that.

By the time he was nine years old he could play like his father.

He said his parents didn’t force him to play, as he loved it naturally, and he was grateful for pushing him enough to make a career in music.

David had to wait in line to call his parents after winning a Grammy

David said winning a Grammy for the first time is one of the biggest highlights in his career.

Back in the 1970s, there were no cell phones, so people used to talk through payphones.

He won a Grammy, so he wanted to share his news with everyone, and for that, he had to stand in a line for his turn to make a call to his parents and say he won the Grammy
