Jay Got His Face Burnt

In 2022, Jay got into a terrific accident. It was horrible as he burnt his whole face.

Jay was in his garage with his cars, and one of the cars' 1908 White Steam fuel lines got clogged.

So he went under the car to fix the clogged thing, and he asked to pass some air through it.

Suddenly, it blasted, and the pilot light fell into his face, causing his whole face to fire.

Thankfully, his friend Dave was there, and Dave came there and covered Jay's face on his chest to stop the fire.

After that, Dave suggested he put cold water on his face.

His whole skin layers were peeling off, so he went to the doctor, who immediately sent him to the burn center.

Jay Cares More About Others

Jay is well known for hosting his show Jay Leno’s Garage. There, in that show, his car collection can be seen.

Sadly, he got into an accident in his Garage, which burnt his face.

His face was terrible because of the burn, and when he got to the doctors to check it up, they suggested to go to the burn unit, but he was worried about his wife, so he went to his house to his wife instead of going to the burn center and checking it off.

He was apprehensive about his wife because he didn't want to leave her the scenario unknown.

His face was burnt and peeling off. Instead, he was worried about other people in the hospital.

He went through painful procedures during treatment, but he didn't say a word.

Despite caring about himself, he was worried about other patients and nurses.

He even pizzas to the nurses and tried his best to cheer other patients in the hospital.

Jay Had Terrible Gig Experiences

Jay opened up that he did his first-ever comedy gig back in 1969, and it was the most terrible and awkward gig of his entire life.

He went to the comedy club for his first gig. As it was his first one, he was nervous. He hadn't done it before and was sitting at the backstage.

Then he heard his name getting announced, and as soon as the announcer called Jay's name, one of the people from the audience started saying that he sucked and hated him.

He was standing backstage, shocked, thinking how the people even knew him.

He had never done that thing. How could the audience possibly know that he sucked at doing comedy?

Not only did he have this, but he also had another horrible gig encounter where he got his head hit by a ketchup bottle.

Jay Was Cool With Isolation

In 2020, the whole world was shaken by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Everything got shut down, and people were forced to stay in their houses isolated. It was a hard time for everyone, but Jay felt very lucky.

He revealed that he was completely okay with staying at the house. He felt that the lockdown period was a forced vacation.

He had no problem staying in the house, so isolation became no issue.

He started his career in 1969 and earned fame and success, so the pandemic created no problem for him.

However, he felt bad for the newcomers, who had just begun their careers.
