In November 2011, Combs filed for divorce from her second husband, Donoho, citing irreconcilable differences.

He has two younger brothers

Finley is the eldest child of his parents’ three children. He has two younger brothers, Riley Edward and Kelly James

During an interview with People back in 2008, his mother said that she knew she would have a rough time getting pregnant because of the surgery she underwent when she was 24 after she discovered she had a fibroid the size of a baseball.

Luckily, it was not cancer, so they didn’t have to remove everything, including organs. Both Finley and Riley were born via C-section.

She also revealed how Finley and Riley got their name.

According to her, Finley and Riley are Irish names since she and her then-husband David are both Irish.

She learned of Finley from an Internet printout on Irish names.

At the time, she thought that it was too different for her husband to like, so she never really mentioned it, but what she did was she gave David the list of the names, hoping he would see the name, and he did.

She sort of made it seem like it was his idea all along.

Riley was the name she always wanted, and although David was not as into it, he ended up letting him choose the name anyway.

His mother battled with postpartum thyroiditis following her second pregnancy

His mother confessed to People that she was diagnosed with postpartum thyroiditis, a condition where the thyroid gland becomes inflamed after having a baby after her second pregnancy.

Initially, they thought it was a postpartum depression

She used to get tired and run down and thought it was because she was juggling with kids and a job, but at the same time, she was also suffering from hair loss, dry skin, and other symptoms.

She was depressed, thinking she wasn’t keeping up well with motherhood.

She finally discovered what she was suffering from after having blood tests and was put on medication.

How did his mother get into acting?

Combs started acting at a very young age. While giving a panel at Street City Con, she talked about how she got into acting.

She said it was her mom who aspired to become an actress, but most of the time, she was rejected, being told that she wasn’t tall enough, wasn’t thin enough, and so on.

Combs' mother was fifteen years old when she gave birth to her. Her father was 17. They got married but eventually got divorced after two years.

Since her mother was so young, she and her mother were more like siblings. They would share everything.

When she was seven, they moved to New York in search of an opportunity. When nothing was working, her mother shared that she was confused.

Combs then told her mom that maybe she would have done this, and maybe that was after her mother told her to try it if she found the job that easy.

Combs was ten years old at the time.

At one point, they were both extras in a movie, and they could only give one person a sag card, so her mother sacrificed and gave it to her.

Combs said that her mother still claims that she bequeathed it to her.

She started from being an extra and did print ads, and commercials before landing her first role in “Sweet Hearts Dance” at the age of 13.

Her first breakthrough role was Kimberly Brock in the 1992 American drama series “Picket Fences.”
