In one of the snaps she posted on Instagram, she was flaunting her ring while embracing Ryan. She captioned the post as, 

"I can't imagine my life without you, and now I don't have to. "Been sobbing for a while now."

Mother of one

Georgie and Ryan became parents for the first time, welcoming their son Leo on the 25th of June, 2023

In an interview with the Herald last September, Ryan said that the arrival of their son has changed their world, much for the better. 

With him playing lots of Saturdays, there's a rule that on Friday nights, he is sleeping undisturbed in the spare room, but he has a baby duty from Monday through Thursday. 

He also said that Leo has been so good so far that he and Georgie keep saying when they have their second, that could be the devil child.

Being pregnant was her greatest adventure

Georgia shared on her Instagram post that being pregnant was her greatest adventure. 

With the pictures of her baby bump, she shared that being pregnant was a magical experience and she loved it and that it was so cool watching her body slowly change and eventually bring a baby into the world. 

“My greatest adventure yet,” she wrote at the end.

Ryan's emotional interview left everyone in tears

It was a historic moment after Ryan scored Scotland's only goal in the Euro 2020 play-off against Serbia, taking the national team to their first major tournament since 1998

They won the tie after a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw. 

In a post-match interview, Ryan could not resist his tears while expressing what it was like qualifying for the major tournament in 22 years. 

"Those penalties are probably the worst thing I have ever been through," he said. 

He also said they have been through it so many years, insisting that it was a "monkey off the back."

Ryan, in an interview with BBC Sport about the emotional moment, said he couldn't manage as few other people were crying around him, and he was trying his best to hold it in.

Georgie also took her Instagram to share the proud moment, saying if anyone was running around the streets of Glasgow, then she could join. 

"Feels like Christmas day this morning," she wrote the following morning.
