Ryan's emotional interview left everyone in tears
It was a historic moment after Ryan scored Scotland's only goal in the Euro 2020 play-off against Serbia, taking the national team to their first major tournament since 1998.
They won the tie after a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw.
In a post-match interview, Ryan could not resist his tears while expressing what it was like qualifying for the major tournament in 22 years.
"Those penalties are probably the worst thing I have ever been through," he said.
He also said they have been through it so many years, insisting that it was a "monkey off the back."
Ryan, in an interview with BBC Sport about the emotional moment, said he couldn't manage as few other people were crying around him, and he was trying his best to hold it in.
Georgie also took her Instagram to share the proud moment, saying if anyone was running around the streets of Glasgow, then she could join.
