From their marital bliss, they are parents of two adorable children, a son and a daughter.
They gave birth to their first child, a daughter, in November 2018 and named her Rafeale.

He lost his father to Long COVID
Gustavo's father, Sergio Mendes, took his last breath in the hospital on September 5, 2024, in Los Angeles.
The reason for his death was Long COVID. Long COVID is a group of health problems that develops or persists after being infected by COVID-19.
Sergio's family said that he had been suffering from long-term COVID-19 and had suffered respiratory problems since the end of 2023.
They also added that for the last several months, Sergio's health had been deteriorating due to the effects of Long COVID.
His family made a statement that he passed away peacefully on Thursday in the hospital and was surrounded by his family including his wife of over five decades, Gracinha Leporace, and his children.
