There was no organization because of how they talked and laughed, so he gave up the idea of auditioning.
While at high school, he wanted to play football, but he got injured after two weeks.
He was on crutches for a while when one of his friends recommended he give an audition for a school play which at the time was a musical called The Pirates of Penzance.
He said he couldn't sing or dance then but ended up auditioning for some reason and landed a tiny part in the chorus.
The most important thing that came out of it was he met his acting teacher Stephen Kazakoff who was directing the show.
He said he was blown away by Kazakoff just after interacting with him and found him more challenging than football coaches.
Tom, while appearing on Jimmy Fallon's show, expressed his gratitude towards Stephen for changing his life, saying he was the man who introduced him to acting and gave him his first exposure to the whole thing, which he did with love and passion.
He also credited him for providing him with a work ethic.
Laurie Is A Grandmother
Pelphrey is a proud grandmother. She recently welcomed a granddaughter, Maltida, born to her son with his girlfriend, actress Kaley Cuoco. Matilda was born on the 30th of March, 2023.
Tom and Kaley started dating in 2022 and made their first public appearance as a couple at a Hollywood Walk of Fame in May 2022.
