World Cup Should Not Be A Priority For Raul

It has not been long since the Mexican forward joined Wolverhampton, and he has been mostly out because of his injuries.

He just played a few matches with the club, and he was called up for the national matches for the World Cup 2022.

Since Raul was one of the talented forward that the club has wanted to use to its full potential, they are not ready to risk him in the coming World Cup

Although Raul has a great chance to represent his country in the world, the manager of Wolverhampton has told Raul to prioritize the club more than the country matches.

The club will not want the player to get injured and affect the matches.

Raul Missed A Friendly Match Just Before World Cup

Raul is one of the most demanding players for the Mexican national team.

He has been listed as one of four forwards for World Cup 2022, yet he has not appeared in the friendly match between Mexico and Sweden just before the World Cup.

While people questioned his presence in the coming World Cup, he missed the match because he had to be elsewhere.

He has been suffering from a niggling groin injury for which he has to take injections in his country.

He had to move to the capital to take the dose of medicine for his injury.

The Mexican coach is really hoping that his injury will not affect his presence at the World Cup.

Raul Got Two Yellow Cards

It is rarely heard what Raul faced in the game of Wolverhampton against Manchester City in the home ground of Manchester City

Raul tackled a midfielder named Rodri, for which he was booked with a yellow card.

But this didn’t end there. The forward blocked the free kick that would be taken, and the referee even warned him not to do so.

Even after the warning, he became trouble for the free-kick taker, and the referee saw that, and he was booked with a second yellow card.

Within a little time, he received two yellow sending him out of the game. Raul was laughed at by the City fans for his strange red card.

Raul Stayed Out From Field For 8 Months

In a game against Arsenal, Raul was playing in the Wolves' side.

He was doing all fine until he suddenly collapsed to the pitch.

Everyone was shocked and thought that he was no more. Fortunately, when everyone arrived, he was alive and breathing.

He was immediately treated to their limit on the ground and taken to the hospital. It was found that he had a crack on his skull.

When asked about the incident, he didn’t remember anything. He needed a lot of time to recover.

For eight months, he stayed at rest and started to train slowly.
