In 2021 signed a three-year contract with Paris Saint Germain. 

He said he was happy to join such a big club, play with big players, and play for the fans. 

He said that he has competed with the club before and is well aware of how the team is and how the fans are.

He said her mother used to live in Amsterdam and didn’t have a car then, so his mother couldn’t take him to the training center. 

So he lived with his grandma rather than her mom as she used to take him to the training center. 

She said when he grew older, he started going alone, but she was his biggest supporter right from the beginning. 

She came to meet him with his mother when he signed a deal with Liverpool to show her support.

When Wijnaldum was younger,r he wanted to become a gymnast or acrobat, but football always had a special place in his heart. 

He lived with his grandmother when he was small as his parents got separated. He has two siblings.
