How Tobey got the part in Spider-Man?
Tobey said that Sam Raimi wanted him to play Spider-Man in the movie, but the studio was not convinced of Tobey being cast as Spider-Man.
In order to convince them, Sam shot a couple of scenes with him. He said it was like an audition process.
He said they shot some videos in a little room and sent them to the studio. They saw his tape, and after a couple of weeks, he was cast for the role.
