Verena and Julian were childhood sweethearts
Verena and Julian were childhood sweethearts. They married in 2018 in an intimate ceremony in Bavaria.
Everything was going well until the pair decided to part ways after 15 years of togetherness. Hence, the pair split in 2022.
In February 2022, Julian revealed in an interview that Verena struggles to sleep at night because of his nocturnal habit of shouting out the names of Bayern Munich players.

The reason behind their split is believed to be his relationship with 30-year-old sports reporter Lena Wurzenberger.
Soon after their split, Julian and Lena were spotted sharing a passionate kiss and embracing each other on the yacht off the coast in Ibiza in 2022.
It is believed that Lena met Julian via her job as a journalist.
They publicly appeared together in November 2022 on the Esquire Townhouse red carpet in Munich.
