Alexander Bah is a Danish-born professional footballer who is a right-back for Primeira Liga club Benfica and the Denmark national team.

About his parents
Alexander was born to a Danish mother and a Gambian father on the island of Funen, Denmark.
His parents brought him up in a small village called Sintet in Foni in the West Coast Region in the Gambia.
His parent, along with him, migrated to Denmark for a better future.
They settled in Ikast, a town in the Central Denmark Region where Alexander got enrolled in efterskole education at ISI idraetsefterskile.

His career so far
Bah started his football journey at a very young age with his local club Aarslev Boldklub.
After having spent a decade with the club, he joined B 1913 and remained there for three years before the club went bankrupt.
In the Spring of 2013, he moved to Naesby.
Bah said the club’s reputation for developing young players and his youth coach who had recently joined Naesby were the two factors behind his decision to move.
After a year at Ikast FS, he returned to Naesby in 2015. Bah initially started as a central forward.
He would play as a winger sometime before eventually switching to forward. He made his debut with the first team at Naesby Boldklub.
He was soon to impress Danish clubs with his outstanding performance. He joined HB Koge in 2016 where he became the starter.
In November 2017, he was honored with the Danske Award (Talent of the Year).
The following year in August 2018, he signed a five-year contract with Danish SuperLiga Club SonderjyskE.
He contributed to the club's Danish Cup title victory and also made his full international debut for the Denmark national team in November 2020 in a match against Sweden where he scored the final goal in a 2-0 win coming on from the bench before making his move to Slavia Prague in 2021.
He rose to prominence in his last seasons with the club where he became a national champion, won the domestic double of the Czech First League Czech Cup, and attracted many European clubs.
Bah joined Primeira Liga Club Benfica on the 7th of June, 2022 signing a five-year contract, and made his debut on the 5th of August in a 4-0 home win over Arouca in the Primeira Liga.
In an interview with Der Nordschleswiger in 2022, he said he has made a smart move in his career.
Everywhere he has gone, the coaches have believed in him and seen his strengths as well as identified his weaknesses to work on it.
