Story of Mason

He was born on January 10, 1999, in Portsmouth, England.

He comes from a football-loving family, but as they belonged to the middle class, his father, despite wanting to build his career in football, chose shipbuilding to feed his family.

But later took up a job as a manager of Havant Town and Newport. His father was a former non-league player.

His father recognized the talent of Mason and started to see his dream in his son. But his parents wanted him to complete his education before following his passion.

His parents enrolled him in training centers when he was quite young. He started playing for his local club at four and caught the eye of Pompey and Chelsea

At six, when he was about to give a trial at Chelsea academy, his father didn't want him to join Chelsea and warned him that only John Terry was the player who graduated from the youth system of Chelsea and played in the first team.

But Mason was determined and said he would be the next to be graduated on the first team.

He debuted on the under-18 team of the club at 15. He was promoted to the senior team of Chelsea at 18.

His inspiration was Frank Lampard, who used to play for Chelsea.
