Kimberly Williams is the daughter of former basketball coach Roy Allen Williams

She loved dancing since her childhood days. So she has pursued her career in dancing.

She is a dance teacher at Jamie Masters School of Dance. She teaches different dance styles such as Jazz, tap, hip-hop, and many more.

Currently, she owns the Dance Spot in Huntersville, North Carolina.

Kim's father as Head Coach

Roy started his college coaching career at North Carolina Taar Heels as an assistant coach for Dean Smith in 1978.

After working for ten years as an assistant coach, Roy became head coach at Kansas in 1988

In 2003, he left the role as coach for Kansas and started serving as a coach for North Carolina

He is the only coach in NCAA history to have four hundred or more victories

As a head coach, Roy coached in a total of six NCAA championship games. 

He is one of six NCAA Men's Division's first college basketball coaches to have won at least three national championships.

He also became the third coach to take his team to the NCAA Tournament at least thirty times.

He was also recognized as the consensus National Coach of the Decade from the year 2000 till 2009

He was also inducted into the College Basketball Hall Of Fame in 2006 and the Basketball Hall Of Fame in 2007

He was also regarded as the fastest coach to win nine hundred games.

He also has an autobiography book called Hard Work: A Life on and Off the Court. This book was published in 2009 by Algonquin Books

Retirement after Forty-Eight years

Roy retired after thirty-three seasons. He has nine hundred and three wins as a college basketball head coach on March 11, 2021.

A press conference was held to make this news official about retirement. The meeting was attended by former and current players, coaches, staff, family members, etc.

Roy thanked everyone who played and loved their game. 

Now his place is taken by his assistant coach named Hubert Davis

A Philanthropist

Kim's mother and father donated three million dollars to the University of North Carolina to support various scholarships for UNC in March of 2021.  

They also donated six hundred thousand dollars to provide scholarships for an extra year of flexibility for UNC Spring Sports Athletes due to the ongoing pandemic.  

The couple is very active in social services and has already done several charities.
