Her brother shot himself to death
Her brother Sawyer shot himself to death at their aunt’s house in Austin, Texas, just nineteen days before his 20th birthday.
At the time, he and his twin brother had been vacationing at their aunt’s house. There is still no answer to why he made that bold decision to take his own life.
One of their relatives told the Daily Mail that the family had a history of depression and that Sawyer had suffered from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity (ADH).
However, Sawyer’s mother, Elizabeth, during an interview with Larry King, said she had an instinct that something was not right only eight days before his demise.
There were no signs before that.
It was eight days before his death, while visiting the house that Sawyer and Sullivan together had bought that she noticed Sawyer wandering from one room to another aimlessly.
He looked disheveled, she recalled.
When she constantly asked him what was happening, the only thing he told her was that he needed to get out of California, saying California makes one think that isn’t true.
He also told her he felt unwelcome in his own home, and he liked his friends who didn’t like him and didn’t want him around.
They were covering their anger with him in laughter. She also recalled Sawyer telling his dad that he felt like he was evil and didn’t deserve to live.
During the same interview, Elizabeth revealed that the fear of losing one of them had always been there since the day she discovered she was carrying twins, and it was nagging her throughout, though she didn’t know why.
She had a fear of losing one of them but it was not specific, she said.
She struggled with insomnia and panic attacks following her brother’s tragic death
Swayer’s sudden death was a total shock, devastating and heartbreaking.
Following his death, his family members, friends, and close ones paid tribute to the kind-hearted and loving Swayer.
Maysa also expressed heartfelt tribute when she said that although her memories of her brother hurt, they are the best memories she ever has ever had and deserves to live on in her mind and the minds of her family forever.
“Until we meet again, big bro, I love you,” she further expressed. Maysa also had a hard time processing the death of her beloved brother.
Her mother, while talking to Larry King, revealed she was struggling with insomnia and panic attacks.
She said Sawyer went crying about to the house two weeks before his death, and that memory was still fresh in her head that she struggled with that.
