A couple of weeks before the twins turned 20 in April 2015. Sawyer ended his life by committing suicide.

The depression was noticed by his mum Elizabeth who said she saw the signs but couldn’t decode them well.
Sawyer even told his family that he didn’t feel like he existed; at the end of the day, he considered death an easy escape from his feelings.
Sawyer visited his family home that day when he decided to end it all by putting a gun to his head.
Elizabeth (mother) was the most devastated as she saw all the signs that could have led her to save Sawyer but failed to do so.
