Tamara has been happily married to her husband, Luciano, for over three decades. According to the sources, the two met when Luciano played for Spezia.
Tamara, at the time, sold subscriptions to the newspaper L'Unita door-to-door.
Luciano after subscribing for 19th times, finally mustered the courage to ask for an appointment. They soon began dating and later married.

The couple is the parents of three beautiful children, two sons, Samuele Spalletti and Federico Spalletti, and a daughter, Matilde Spalletti.

Tamara went through the most difficult phase of her life, having to lose both of her parents in 2016. They died within hours of each other.
Her father died of a heart attack on the 8th of September, 2016, followed by her mother, Giovanna, that evening. They were married for over five decades.

Luciano made history with Napoli by guiding the team to their first Serie A title in 33 years, i.e., since 1990.
Following his achievements, he was nominated for The Best FIFA Men's Coach award, where he was the first runner-up.
When asked about the recipe behind his success with Napoli, he talked about the need for good footballers to get good results and that was what happened in a city that has a passion for the team and its players.

In an interview with II Corriere dello Sport, Luciano revealed sleeping at Napoli Office at the Castel Volturno training ground in his second season at the club.
According to him, he lived in the hotel in his first season at the club. They would provide him with the breakfast in his room.
Then he placed the bed in his office so he would not lose a second, even the smallest detail. He avoided 30 minutes of driving from Naples to Castel Volturno.
He also said that it would have been easier to remain at Napoli explaining that it would be more natural to continue working with the group they had taken to the top.
Luciano, in another interview while discussing his career to date, said he could quit coaching if he won the World Cup and the Euro.
"I need to build a strong national team, and I am not satisfied with anything else. I want to win the European Championship and then the World Cup. Then we might even exit early, but the speeches I give to the team are what all Italians expect", he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
