Married to an Irishman
Teresa is married to her husband, Sean Rice who is Irish. He was the first generation of Irish immigrants to stay permanently in England.
The couple has been married since 1990 and share three sons, Conor, Jordan, and Declan. Declan is the youngest of three.
All of their three sons played football growing up and played for the local team.

Declan was seven years old when he joined the academy of Chelsea in 2006.
He then joined the academy of West Ham United after being released from Chelsea at the age of 14.
It was a hard period for Declan because he became homesick but little did he know at the time that his mum too was desperate for him to return home.
While appearing on the Super 6 podcast, he said he left his mum and dad when he was 14 and stayed in digs until he was 18.
He was only going home on weekends.
His mum would go to see him with his dad on Wednesday to break it up for him because he was homesick at the start. After all, he missed them loads.
"Honestly, my mum came up and wanted to pull me away from it at West Ham. I would cry on the phone to her because I missed her so much, and my dad and it would break her heart", he expressed.
Declan only got to know lately from her mom's brother that his mum used to be in tears to him (mom's brother) down the phone like she wanted him to come home.
Her husband wasn't happy with their son's decision to play for England
Declan was born in Kingston upon Thames, England.
His grandparents, Margaret and Jack were from Douglas, County Cork, in England so he was eligible to play for England or the Republic of Ireland.
Although he represented Ireland under-17 and under-21, he chose to represent England in the end.
Declan's father Sean was not happy with his decision to play for England and expressed his disappointment in an interview saying he had never imagined his son would be representing England but it is what it is, and he has to support his son, no matter what.
He also added that he is very Irish, his parents were very Irish and that Declan grew up in an Irish/English environment as a lot of people from London do.
"I wouldn't have thought for 100 years he would run out in an England shirt but he has got his reasons", he further added.
Her son wore a jersey printed "mum" on the back
On the occasion of International Women's Day, Declan wore a jersey printed "mum" on the back to show appreciation to his mum.
He said he chose to put his mum's name on the back of my shirt for training, showing his appreciation for all the time and effort she spent helping him and his two brothers become the men they are today for which he and his brothers will be forever grateful.
