Gabrielle has been happily married to Rigobert since 2005.

In 2016 Rogobert was hospitalized after he suffered from a life-threatening cerebral attack while he was at his home.
He was immediately rushed to a local hospital. He was in a coma for two days in the hospital.
Later he was transferred to France for further treatment. One of his family members confirmed the news.
After a few months, he recovered from it.
He thanked all the people of Cameroon for their love and support and said that their wishes and love encouraged him to get better soon.
He also thanked the government, which helped him during his hardest time and paid all his medical bills.
After his complete recovery, he returned to Cameroon in 2017 and resumed his coaching duties.

Rigobert is the new manager for the national team of Cameroon
The sports minister of Cameroon decided to appoint Rigobert as the new manager for Cameroon.
He replaced Portuguese coach Antonio Conceicao da Silva Oliveira who managed Cameroon to 3rd place in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Cameroon football association was looking forward to quality for World Cup 2022, which is going to be held in Qatar, and they wanted to secure a good position.
